Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 2026-11-03

1. Purpose

HungryShot helps restaurants, cafés, bars, bakeries, cloud kitchens, food trucks and caterers create images, videos and menu copy for the dishes and drinks they serve. This policy sets out what you may and may not do with the Service. It forms part of our Terms of Service (/terms). By using HungryShot you agree to follow it.

2. Prohibited Content

You may not upload, generate or publish with the Service anything that:

  • Is illegal, fraudulent, deceptive or infringes someone else's rights
  • Is child sexual abuse material (CSAM), depicts child sexual exploitation, or is non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII)
  • Depicts or promotes violence, hatred or discrimination against a person or group, or exploits or endangers minors
  • Is sexually explicit, pornographic or otherwise adult
  • Shows weapons, illegal drugs or other goods that are prohibited from sale
  • Shows counterfeit or stolen goods, or misrepresents the brand, ingredients, origin or authenticity of a product
  • Makes or implies misleading food-safety, allergen, nutrition, dietary, halal, kosher, organic or origin claims, whether in an image, a video or text generated or published through the Service
  • Shows food that is unsafe, spoiled or otherwise unfit for consumption in a way intended to promote it
  • 3. People, Faces and Likeness

  • The chefs, diners and other people created by HungryShot are synthetic. Do not try to make them look like a specific real person
  • Do not upload photos of real, identifiable people (including celebrities, public figures, famous chefs, staff, diners or minors) to create or guide people, images or videos unless that person has given you explicit consent
  • Do not create face swaps, deepfakes, voice impersonations or any content that imitates the face, body or voice of a real person without their explicit consent
  • Do not use the Service to make automated judgments or categorisations about people
  • Reference images are for dish, style and presentation guidance only
  • 4. AI Transparency

  • Outputs are generated by AI and may be labelled or carry metadata saying so; do not remove it where the law requires it
  • AI renders may not exactly match the real dish. Review every output and do not use AI imagery in a way that misrepresents the product actually served where local law or the platform's rules prohibit it
  • Follow the rules of the delivery app, marketplace or advertising channel where you publish, including any requirement to disclose AI-generated or AI-edited images
  • Never present an AI-generated person as a real chef, customer, reviewer or real photograph in a misleading way
  • 5. Intellectual Property and Marketplaces

Only upload dish photos, menus, logos and other brand assets that you own or have the right to use. Do not impersonate or imitate another restaurant, food brand, chain or trademark, and do not add logos you are not authorised to use. You are responsible for the accuracy of the menus, prices and descriptions you publish and for the legal compliance of your food advertising (including labelling, allergen information and advertising rules in your market). Respect the terms of the delivery apps and social platforms where you publish. HungryShot is not affiliated with those platforms.

    6. Misuse of the Service

    You may not:

  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, overload or attack the Service or its AI systems
  • Resell, sublicense or share your account or credits
  • Create multiple accounts to collect free credits or referral rewards, or use fake invitations
  • Bypass limits, moderation or security controls
  • Use outputs to train competing AI models
  • 7. Enforcement

We may review content and usage that we suspect breaks this policy, remove content, restrict features, suspend or close accounts, withhold refunds for abusive use and, where the law requires, report to the authorities. Serious or repeated breaches may lead to immediate termination, as described in our Terms.

Ad Crafter sends its text and image analysis request through Google Gemini with automated safety settings enabled. These settings may block some harmful requests but may not detect every violation; they do not replace your responsibility to follow this policy.

    8. Reporting

To report abusive content, misleading food claims, a person whose likeness has been used without permission, brand impersonation, or an intellectual property complaint, email contact@hungryshot.com with a description, the relevant links and your contact details. We review reports promptly and remove content that breaks this policy.
